Intermediate Beekeeping class offered by Phil Craft


Phil Craft, columnist for Bee Culture Magazine and former KY State Apiarist, will offer a one-day intermediate beekeeper course at the University of Kentucky’s Ecological Research and Education Center (1737 Russell Cave Road, Lexington, KY). The class will be offered on May 14 and repeated on June 25.

An intermediate beekeeping course. 9 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. ET, Lexington. Instructor Phil Craft will give instruction concerning monitoring and controlling varroa mites, queen problems and solutions, honey bee nutrition, small hive beetle and wax moth control, reducing swarming, and more. Limit 40 pre-registered participants.
