Congratulations to our new officers for 2017. Rick Sutton moved up to the position of president, Jake Osborne moved into the president-elect position, Chris Renfrow is our new vice-president, Jason Conley is our new secretary, John Benham is our new treasurer, Tana Peers remains our sergeant-at-arms, Kent Williams continues as our historian, and Ray Tucker is now our immediate past-president. Contact information for each of the officers can be found on the Current KSBA Officers page of our website.
All KSBA officers serve for a term of one year. At the end of the vice-president’s term, that person will become the new president-elect. The president-elect will then become the new president and the former president will become the immediate past-president.
Officer nominations are accepted each fall for the positions of historian, sergeant-at-arms, secretary, treasurer, and vice-president. Nominees should be Kentucky beekeepers who are devoted to beekeeping, helping others learn about beekeeping, and volunteering their services to KSBA. The KSBA Executive Committee reviews the nominations and votes on the new officers. The new officers are announced each year at the KSBA fall meeting.
